Kansen Chu is Assembly Member of District 25 at State of California.

An immigrant from Taiwan, Kansen came to the U.S. to pursue graduate studies in Electronics Engineering. He has been elected to serve as a California State Assemblymember in 2014, San Jose City Councilmember in 2007, to the Berryessa Union School Board in 2002 and Berryessa School Board Trustee in 2021.

With decades of public service experiences and a strong commitment to integrity and transparent government, Kansen has built strong collaborative working relationships with local elected and community leaders across political party lines. Kansen is proud to be an independent thinker, committed to serving his resident constituents.

Looking at the State of California at a cross road, Kansen commits his time and energy to mental health, public safety, transportation, housing, environmental, jobs, water and of course education issues.
